| The current Fiske United Methodist Church was
established on January 20, 1859. It was called the Fallentimber
United Brethren Church. The ground was deeded from Charles Ramstead
for the sum of $1.00 which was paid for by Isaac Gates. It was on
the site that the present building was erected. In 1887, Frugality,
Ashville and Dean were part of the Fallentimber mission. After 1894,
the Fallentimber Church became part of the Glasgow Charge.
