Arthur Henry Wheatley was born 25 December 1878 in Waxahachie, Ellis County, Texas. He had moved to Wood County, Texas in time for the 1900 census. He was listed as a servant in the James Willson household for that emumeration. Arthur married Mary Hattie Corley 19 May 1901 in Wood County. She was the daughter of John M. Corley and Anna Fulmer.

1.   John Elton Wheatley was born 19 February 1902 in Wood County, Texas and died 25 November 1948 in Clifton-By-Sea in Galveston County, Texas. According to his death certificate, John was married. The document has his residence and place of death as Clifton-By-Sea, Galveston County. He was the District Superintendant for Humble Oil. Arthur was the informant. He is buried in San Jacinto Memorial Park in Cloverleaf Harris County, Texas.

	2.     Pierce E. Wheatley was born 07 July 1903 in Wood County, Texas and died 29 January 1923. He is buried in San Jacinto Memorial Park in Cloverleaf Harris County, Texas.

Arthur and Hattie moved to Harris county by 1930 and spent the rest of their lives there.

Arthur Henry Wheatley died 18 September 1954 in Harris County, Texas.
Mary Hattie Corley Wheatley died 14 March 1959 in Harris County, Texas. They are buried in San Jacinto Memorial Park Cemetery in Cloverleaf, Harris County, Texas
