David Bishop Enlisted in 1861 under General Bedford Forest as a Private. Was paroled out of service in April of 1865 at Shreveport. La. Was born in Lacy, Tennessee and died there on 11 Feb 1922. His father owned slaves in 1860 but he did not. He married Miss Louisa Grantham and they had 11 Children. [Collected by R.E. Lee Chapter, Blackwater, Cooper Co, Mo.] F. W. Bishop Enlisted in Col. Perkins Mo. Regiment in Company B. Had a niece, Maggie C. Bu[r]t of Auxvasse, Mo. [Collected by Columbia Chapter] [Note: Son of Tyra D and Rebecca (Wilburn) Bishop - William F Bishop] R.R. Bishop Was a member of the 19th Tenn. Cavalry, Co. B. Had a daughter, Cora Shaw, of Caruthersville. [Collected by Columbia Chapter.] Stephen Bishop Lived in Miami, Mo. Was in the 2nd Cavalry, 1st or 2nd Mo. Brig. Ref Bevier. [Collected by St. Louis Chapter.] William Bishop Enlisted in 1861 in Farville, Mo. in Ruxton's Company, commanded by E.J. Brown as a Private. Was in the battles of Boonville and Lexington. Taken prisoner on 19 Dec 1861 and sent to the St. Louis Prison, then Alton, Illinois. Exchanged 14 Mar 1862. Paroled out of service in 1864.
