Montgomery Standard, Montgomery County, Missouri, 16 March 1928 Clem Bishop died at his home near here Friday at 3 o'clock, after a short illness. He was stricken at the Bunnell blacksmith shop on Monday with heart trouble, and grew worse until death relieved him. He was 60 years and 6 months old and leaves a heart broken wife, whose father, R.L. Spears, was being buried in Montgomery at the time her husband passed away. Also one daughter and one son, two brothers, Joe of California and Frank of this place, three sisters, Mrs. Alice Engel, Mrs. Orie Holbrook. The funeral was held Sunday at 2 o'clock by Rev. Sawyer at the Presbyterian church. A large crowd attended. He was reared near town and had many friends who sympathize with the family.
