After transacting his business he started out, but before reaching the door collapsed, and he was caught by those present and eased to the floor, where he soon expired. Dr. Tinsley was called and reached him about the time he drew his last breath. The cause of death was neuralgia of the heart. Mr Bishop had been a resident of Montgomery many years, and since the death of his wife had made his home with his son, John, who lives on the old Mat Johnson farm. He leaves three brothers and one sister, and four daughters and one son. His daughters live in St Louis. The funeral will be this (Friday) afternoon, and burial will be in the city cemetery.
