Montgomery Standard, Montgomery County, Montgomery City, Missouri, 25 November 1875 

	Mrs Harriett Bishop, wife of David J. Bishop, departed this life at 
their residence in this county, on the 23d day of November 1875 in her 49 
year after a long illness of consumption.  Her funeral was preached by Elder 
Wm. M. Jones and attended by a large number of friends and relatives.  Her 
body was buried in the old church yard at old Providence Church on Loutre.  
She died in the triumphs of Christian faith.  "Death is swallowed up in 
victory."
