Death of Mrs J.R. Hassler, Auxvasse Review, 18 June 1908

	Mary Jane Bishop was born in Montgomery County, Mo in 1840.  She was
married (February 21, 1856) to John R Hassler and to this union eight children
were born, six of whom are living, two having preceeded her to the grave.

	Mrs Hassler died Saturday night, June 18, 1908, after an illness of 
several months of dropsy and heart trouble.  The children who were with her at
the time of death were T.B. Hassler of Mexico, J.E. Hassler of Hatton, and
Mrs N.R. Burt and Mrs Viola Muster, of Auxvasse.  W.S. Hassler of Spokane,
Washington and Mrs B.J. McCowin of Dorsey, New Mexico, were not present.
Mrs Hassler had been a member of the Christian Church about forty years.  Two
years ago last February Mr and Mrs Hassler celebrated their golden wedding.
