	Ernest Bishop Buried In New Florence.  Ernest Bishop, a former 
resident of New Florence and Montgomery City died January 23, 1965 at his 
home in Waukegan, Ill.  He was born April 1, 1902 in Martinsburg the son of 
Laura Taylor and Thomas Jefferson Bishop.
	Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Patricia Jones, Mrs. Karen 
Schuff and Mrs. Arlene Baker all of Detroit, Mich.;  one brother Neal Bishop 
of New Florence, six sisters, Mrs. Nettie Bishop, Bellflower, Mrs. Ruth 
Cunningham, Montgomery City, Mrs. Flossie Kobush, Mineola, Mrs. Neomia 
Trowbridge, Cattleburg, Ky., Mrs. Elizabeth Hastings, Shelbina, Mo. and 
Maurine Covington, Medford, Ore.
	Mr. Bishop attended the New Florence and Montgomery City Public 
Schools when his family lived in this area.
	Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, January 31 from the 
Baker Funeral Home in New Florence by the Rev. John Gerdeman.
	Burial was the New Florence Cemetery.
