District Records of School District No. 4 Township No. 49, County of Callaway State of Missouri Hazel Dell School House sat in the center of Section 8 of Township 49, Range 7. The district boundaries appeared to have included the southern half of sections 4, 5, and 6 and all of sections 7, 8, 9, 16, 17, and 18 as well as the SW1/2 and the SE 1/2 of the SW1/4 of section 15 equaling 100 acres. The name Poague is written on the map in this spot. On a second map the NW 1/4 of the NW1/4 equaling 40 acres appears to have been included. No name is listed with this property. Pages 109, 110, and 111 list the Annual Enumeration of District No. 4, Township 49, Taken on the 24th day of March, 1877 as follows:
