Shelby Wright Bishop (1853-1918) married Martha (Young-Bishop) (1846-1890). Note that Shelby married his brother's widow, Martha, on 29 September 1878 after Napoleon died 2 March 1878. Napoleon and Martha's children then lived with Shelby and Martha. Shelby and Martha had daughters Doll b 1885 and Mattie b 1887. After Martha died in 1890 Shelby married Powellton (Fitts) (1872-) on 3 November 1892. Shelby and Powettan had one child that died young.
