Jacob Coil married Elizabeth (Spears). Jacob and Elizabeth were natives of Ireland, but came to America and settled in Bourbon County, Kentucky. They had a family of eight children, five sons and three daughters. Solomon and Noah moved to Callaway County, Missouri, in 1825. John also moved to Callaway County.
