	Mrs. H. Sam Bishop, the former Lucille Craig, 86, passed away
Wednesday night, Dec. 27, following a lengthy illness.  Services were held
Saturday morning in the New Hartford Baptist Church.  Kirks Funeral Home
was in charge.  She is survived by her husband;  one sister, Mellie
Stapleton;  a sister-in-law, Pauline Craig, and other relatives.  Sympathy
is extended to the family.

Hannibal Courior-Post, Hannibal, Marion, Missouri, 29 December 2000 NEW HARTFORD Lucille Bishop, 86, of New Hartford, died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2000, at Country View Nursing Facilities in Bowling Green. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, at the New Hartford Baptist Church. The Revs. Bob Hoehn and Gary Harrelson will officiate. Burial will be at Smyrna Cemetery in New Hartford. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Kirks Funeral Chapel in Bowling Green, and from 10 a.m. until time of services Saturday at the church. Mrs. Bishop was born Aug. 26, 1914, in New Hartford to Ernest and Myrtle Lee Reed Craig. She was married to Carey Motley. He preceded her in death Nov. 26, 1985. She was later married to Sam Bishop on July 22, 1990. He survives. Other survivors include one sister, Mellie Stapleton of New Hartford; and a number of stepchildren and stepgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Johnny R. Craig. Mrs. Bishop was a member of the New Hartford Baptist Church. She had been a school teacher in the Bowling Green Public School System. Memorials may be made to Smyrna Cemetery or the Bowling Green High School.
