Memorial rites for Mrs. Lulu Anna Turk, long-time Sheldon resident who died Friday night, were held Tuesday afternoon at the Sheldon Christian Church. The Rev. Nevada Daily Mail, Vernon County, Nevada, Missouri, 28 April 1952 Miss Elva Turk died Thursday evening. Miss Elva Turk, formerly of Sheldon, died at Kelso, Wash., Thursday evening. She was born Jan 15, 1903, at Fair Haven. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Turk of Sheldon, survive. Miss Turk had been teaching school in Kelso the past three years. Surviving besides her parents are four brothers, Estil and Omel of Kelso, Rex of Sheldon and Raymond of Lodi, Ohio, and one sister, Mrs. Mildred Hollenbeck of Sweet Home, Ore. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Christian Church at Sheldon with the Rev. B. W. Corporon officiating. Burial will be at Sheldon.
