Mexico Evening Ledger, Audrain County, Mexico, Missouri, 21 May 1955 Mrs. Ruth A. Sims, 50, Dies At Hospital. Mrs. Ruth Anna Sims, 50, of 1021 W. Latney St., died at 2 a.m. Saturday at Audrain Hospital. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Centennial Baptist Church of which she was a member. The Rev. L.F. Admire will officiate and burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Born Sept. 4, 1904, in Audrain County, she was the daughter of Richard V. and Christina Bybee Day. She was married to Robert R. Sims who survives along with her father. Other survivors are four children, Mrs. M.R. Bishop of Wellston, Okla., James R. Sims of Rockville, MD., Mrs. Harry Bugg of Mexico and Mrs. E.V. Bonnell of Robertson; two sisters, Mrs. L.W. Snyder of Mexico and Mrs. Charles Sullivan of Milwaukee, Wis.; two brothers, Carl Day of Kansas City and John Day of East St. Louis, Ell.; a number of half-brothers and sisters, and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother and a brother, Paul Day. The body will be at the Arnold Funeral Home until services.
