Fulton Sun, Callaway County, Fulton, Missouri, 29 November 1989 Thelma Bishop Johnson. Mrs. Thelma Bishop Johnson, 93, of Fulton died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 1989, at the Kingdom Nursing Home in Fulton. She was born Oct. 28, 1896, in Martinsburg, a daughter of the late John William and Lula Lail Bishop of Shamrock. In 1925 she married Milford B. Johnson, who died in May 1965. Survivors include two nephews, William L. Bishop of Fulton and Glen Bishop of Troy, and one niece, Lou Eva Seal of Albuquerque, N.M. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers, Charles J Bishop and Claud Bishop; one sister, Nattie Bishop; and one nephew, Jim Bishop. Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Raymond McCallister Jr. at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov 30 at the Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Liberty Cemetery near Shamrock. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church of Fulton.
