Wellsville Optic News, Montgomery County, Wellsville, Missouri, 23 October 1985 Funeral Services For Albert Lee Bishop, 68. Funeral services for Albert Lee Bishop, 68, of Wellsville were scheduled for Tuesday afternoon, October 22, 1985, at 1:30 o'clock at Myers Funeral Home in Wellsville. Rev. Robert Stoddard was in charge of the service with burial in the Liberty Church Cemetery near Martinsburg. Mrs. Roger Scott served as organist for the service. The following were selected to serve as pallbearers: H.C. Baur, Bill Crouch, Raymond Dodd, Earl Wayne Finch, Leroy Pease and Del Stevenson. Visitation was from 4:00 until 7:00 o'clock on Monday night at the Myers Funeral Home. Albert Lee Bishop was born November 26, 1916, in Wellsville, only child of the late Glenwood R. and Nora Elizabeth Coil Bishop. He served his country in World War II. For a time he was employed by Baur Supply Co. Survivors include a daughter, Joy Ann Maybon of Gillette, Wyo.; two granddaughters, Vicki Lee Collins and Jackie Swan, both of Kansas City; two great-grandchildren. Herbert C. Coil of Wellsville is an uncle and took much care of Albert Lee in recent years. Mrs. Velma Bishop is an aunt. Wellsville cousins include: Anna Lee Brinegar, Richard and Bennett Arnold and Mrs. Jim (Gloria) Lewis. Mrs. S.A. Oliver of Montgomery City is a cousin as is Bernard Coil and Burrell Coil of the state of California.
