Montgomery Standard, Montgomery County, Montgomery City, Missouri, 1 November 1984 Delia Bishop. Mrs. Delia Mary Bishop of Route 1, Montgomery City, died early Friday morning, October 26, 1984 at Audrain Medical Center where she had been a patient since October 10. Mrs. Bishop was born August 11, 1912, in Vienna to Casper and Frances Pelican Bade. On July 3, 1947 she was married in Rolla to H. Samuel Bishop, who survives at the home. Other survivors are a daughter Mrs. John (Jean) Daniel Jr. of Lenexa, Kan.; a son, James C. of Columbia; two grandchildren; a brother, Steve Bade of Union; a twin sister, Della Copeland of Dixon; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were two brothers, William and Julius and two sisters, Mabel and Frances. Mrs. Bishop was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. Services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Schlanker Funeral Home. The Rev. Robert Stoddard officiated and burial was in Fairmount Cemetery, Middletown. Organist was Mrs. Ellen Wilkinson, and the vocalist, Gerald Keithley. Pallbearers: Harry Charles Bishop, Rodney Allison, Ray Ackerman, Paul W. Dunbar, Dale Wilkinson and Buford Bunch.
