Columbia Tribune, Boone County, Missouri, ?? January 1994 Marjorie Bishop, 72, of Centralia died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 1994, at Boone Hospital Center. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 6, at Fenton Funeral Chapel in Centralia with the Rev. Ken Ingram officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Mexico, Mo. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5, at the funeral home. Mrs. Bishop was born May 22, 1921, in Columbia, S.C., to Mr. and Mrs. Archie Baker. On June 6, 1942, in Lexington, S.C., she married William Frank Bishop Sr., and he preceded her in death in 1978. She worked at the shoe factory in Mexico until her retirement. She was also a member of the Friendship Christian Church in Centralia. Survivors include two sons, William F. Bishop Jr. of Columbia and Donald Bishop of Centralia; a sister, Musette Rose of Columbia, S.C.; eight grandchildren; and a great- granddaughter. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert L. Bishop Sr. and two brothers, Woodrow and Jack Baker. Memorials are suggested to cancer research.
