Joplin Globe, Jasper County, Joplin, Missouri, 18 December 1915 Brown. Mrs. Jennie Brown, 58 years old, died from pneumonia at her residence, No. 816 West Seventh street, at 7 o'clock yesterday morning. The body was removed to the parlors of the Huribut Undertaking Company and will be sent to Beebe, Ark., at 7:40 o'clock this morning. Funeral services and burial probably will be there Sunday.
Fulton Gazette, Callaway County, Fulton, Missouri, 23 December 1915 Mrs. Jennie Brown Dead. Mrs. Jennie Brown, about 60 years old, died of pneumonia at the home of her son, Charles Brown, in Joplin, last Friday night, and was buried Saturday afternoon at Beebe, Ark., her former home. Mrs. Brown was reared near Shamrock, this county, and was a daughter of the late Tyre Bishop, of that section. She was the widow of Harry Brown, marshall of Beebe, who was shot and killed two years ago by a man whom he had under arrest. Mrs. Brown was a sister of Fount W. Bishop, of Shamrock, and a sister-in-law of H.H. Brown, southwest of Fulton, and Mrs. Sam T. Hatcher, of Auxvasse. She also was an aunt of Mrs. N.R. Burt and Mrs. Viola Muster, of Auxvasse.
