Montgomery Standard, Montgomery County, Missouri, 5 May 1955 Mrs. Martha Coil Dies At 92 Years. Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Ann Coil, 92, were held Saturday afternoon, April 30th, at 2:00 o'clock at Liberty Church, south of Martinsburg, conducted by the Rev. A.F. Larson, of Fulton. Burial was in the adjoining church cemetery. The body was taken from the Wells Funeral House to the family home eight miles southwest of Wellsville where it was in state until the hour of the service. Martha Ann Coil, a daughter of Solomon and Permelia Rentfro Coil, was born January 1, 1863, in Callaway County, a short distance from her home where she died, April 28, 1955. She was married September 15, 1885. Mr. Coil and two daughters preceded her in death. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. G.R. (Nora) Bishop; a son, Herbert C. Coil; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and D.A. Surls, of Mexico, whom she reared in her home.
