Mexico Evening Ledger, Audrain County, Mexico, Missouri, 22 August 1962 Funeral Thursday for Frank Bishop. Last rites for Frank Bishop, formerly of here, who died at his home, in St. Charles yesterday morning, will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Arnold funeral home. The Rev. Carl Redford, pastor of the Christian Church in Auxvasse will conduct the service, and interment will be in the Elmwood Cemetery. Music for the service will be provided by Mrs. John W. Willer, organist, and Mrs. John M. Conner, vocalist. Those to serve as pallbearers will be Forrest Brown, Clayton Brown, Lonnie Bradley, John Albus, John Brown and Carol Coil. Survivors include three sons, William Bishop of Centralia, Melvin Bishop of Lawton, Okla., and Bobby Bishop of Philadelphia, Pa.; four daughters, Mrs. Bobby Adler [Edler] of St. Charles, Mrs. W.B. Bales of St Peters, Mrs Al Peters of Mason, Ia., and Mrs Leo Vorie [Leona Vorhees] of the state of California; and two sisters, Mrs. W.B. Wyss of Auxvasse and Mrs. Ruth Coe of Springfield, Ill.

Mexico Ledger, Audrain County, Mexico, Missouri, 28 November 1934 Mrs F.L. Bishop 29, Dies Monday. Young Mother, of Northeast of Mexico, Succumbs To Illness. Husband And Seven Children Survive -- Services Tuesday. Mrs Frank L. Bishop, well known resident of northeast of Mexico, died at the Audrain Hospital Monday morning at 3:30. She had been ill at the hospital since Monday. Mrs Bishop was 29 years old. She is survived by her husband and seven children, William Frank, 13, Melvin Roy, 11, Emma Rose, 10, Mary Frances, 9, Betty Ruth, 6, Leona Jane, 3, James Robert 1 1/2. She is also survived by her mother, Mrs William Baysinger, of Chicago and three sisters, Miss Nellie Saxe of Vandalia, Mrs Arthur Lemasters, of Chicago, and Mrs Leona Swaggett, of Chicago. The funeral services will be held at the home, 3 1/2 miles northeast of Mexico, Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. J. B. Robertson officiating, and burial will be at the Elmwood cemetery. The Ledger joins family friends in extending sincere sympathy to the bereaved at Mrs. Bishop's passing.
