| Christopher "Kit" Barnett (from ???, Scotland) married Phyllis Rae Bishop on April 9, 2005 on her brother's commercial fishing boat in Halibut Cove Lagoon (directly across Kachemak Bay from Homer, Alaska) - most picturesque!. The ceremony was preformed by Phyllis' son, Justin C. Bustamante (being the ship's captain). The maid of honor was Christopher's sister, Jane Barnett who is married to Phyllis's brother, Daniel (meaning two Alaskan sisters are married to two Scottish brothers). The celebration was attended by family. Christopher and Phyllis live in Homer, Alaska. Phyllis is an English teacher at Voznesenka High School which is located in a Russian Old Believer community - people who were religious refugees from the time of the Bolsheviks. Christopher's children (from a previous marriage: Donna, Christopher, and Anne) all live in Scotland. Phyllis' son (from a previous marriage: Justin) lives in Portland, Oregon. | |||
