Otis R Woodson (1923-) married Iva Leota Smith (1925-1994) on 24 January 1942 in Hannibal, Missouri. Otis was born 1 May 1923 in Hannibal, Missouri, and grew up there, lived on a farm in Monroe County, and lived in the town of Louisiana southeast of Hannibal on the Mississippi River. In 1940 Otis went in the CCC Camp at Bowling Green, Missouri. In July 1941 Otis moved back to Hannibal and got a job at the International Shoe factory. He also worked at the CB&Q Railroad in Hannibal. In 1943 he went into the Army and was stationed at Ft Sill, Oklahoma, Pennsacola, Florida, Ft Jackson, North Carolina, Ft Bragg, North Carolina and in the Southern Pacific - Phillippine Islands. At the war's end he was discharged 6 January 1946. Back home in Hannibal he worked for the railroad again until January 1965 when he went to Chicago, Illinois, where he worked on the railroad. After a couple of years he quit and worked as a carpenter in Decatur, Illinois, then moved back to Louisiana, Missouri. He worked at a cement company at Clarksville, Missouri, until 1972 and went back to work on the railroad. Otis retired in 1985 and moved back to Hannibal. Otis and his wife Iva raised three children, Otis Wayne, Carol Jean and Virginia Kay. On 19 April 1994 Iva passed away.

Otis married Vanda Maxine (Jones) Holder (1921-) on 12 November 1994 in Hannibal, Missouri. They live on Homestead Street in Hannibal. Otis is a deacon at the Calvary Baptist Church in Hannibal.
