Fielden/Fielding Hays (1841-1911) married Eliza Jane Peery (1847-1926) on 24/25 December 1865. They lived near Wellsville, Missouri. Fielding Hays fought in the Civil War in Capt. Sharp's Company. Fielding and Eliza Hays and other family are supposed to be buried in the Peery Cemetery located on Albert and Mary Peery farm east of Wellsville, Missouri. Their four small children Addie Hays, Girtie Hays, Raymond Hays and infant daughter (d1890) Hays are buried in the Peery Cemetery. Note: in later generations the surname Hayes is also used.
