Richard Lyle (?-1902) married Catherine (Waller) (1844-1913) on 26 November 1863 in Macon County, Missouri. Eight children were born to them, four sons and four daughters, two of whom died in infancy. The six children are Mrs. Sink Bishop, John Lyle, Jude Lyle, Mrs. Charley Cole, Mrs. Eddie Waller and Thomas W Lyle. Richard and Catherine are probably buried along with Thomas, Dolly, and other Waller members in the Waller Family Cemetery located on the old Waller settlement three and one half miles east of Excello in Macon County.
