| Robert G Turk (1840-1907) married Sarah Virginia "Jennie" (Bishop) (1846-1926) on 30 November 1864. Robert and Jennie had a son John Louis Turk (1867-1955) born in Burlington, Iowa. John learned the trade of blacksmith. John married Lulu Anna Darr (1868-1959) in 1900 at Fair Haven, Missouri. They lived in Rockville and Rich Hill, Missouri, then moved to Uniontown, Washington in 1907 with three children, Estil, Omel, and Elva, where John Turk continued his blacksmithing. They moved to Missouri in 1911 with six children, Estil B (b 1901?), Elva (b 1903), Omel, Rex R (b 1906), Raymond and Mildred. They lived in Fair Haven Springs, Rockville and Rich Hill, Missouri, before moving to Sheldon in 1913 with the family. John, Anna and their daughter Elva are buried in Sheldon Cemetery, Vernon County, Drywood Twp, Sheldon, Missouri. Robert and Jennie are buried in Green Mound Cemetery, Vernon County, Bacon Twp, which is one mile north of Harwood, Missouri. | ||
