| William Samuel Oliver (1904-1987) married Allevia Gooch on 7 January 1930 in Wellsville, Missouri. Sam and Allevia lived near Montgomery City until 1968 when he retired as a farmer and moved to Mexico, Missouri. Samuel and his wife were in possession of the Thomas Bishop Day Book in August 1983. Sam Oliver stated that Samuel A and Sarah (Via) Bishop are buried west of Montgomery City on 40 acres he used to own. He also stated that Granville Addison Bishop was killed during the Civil War just off his 40 acres. | ||
