This photo is believed to be of a pipeline or brush clearing crew. Possibly for United Fuel Gas Company. Photo is believed to have been taken in the area of Southern Roane County, Pigeon, Amma Area or bordering area of Bluecreek in Kanawha County. There are only 4 identified people in this photo: Middle row 3rd from left w/arms crossed - Charlie Short, Same row 5th from left dark band around hat - Floyd Gibson, Beside him on the right (middle of picture) dark hat - Peter McCune (my grandfather), Front row last person on the right (black hat) - Otto Rhodes (my other grandfather) Both Peter McCune & Otto Rhodes retired from the United Fuel Gas Company. Peter worked the Southern Roane and Bluecreek /Thorofare area. I believe there may be several of these men from the Southern Roane area, Clio, Amma to Clendenin.

| This is believed to be taken in Northern Kanawha County in the Bluecreek area. We could appreciate any information. Can you identify this place or anyone in the photo. Possible train station, surveying for a big site? But obviously on the old train tracks. | |
