Note that labratories often test different marker sets and do not report them uniformly. All values have been converted to Family Tree DNA reporting standards. The presumed haplotype for George Philip Wertman has been estimated by using the most common value returned at each marker. All subjects have reasonable papertrails and there is good agreement between their results. Samples are identified by which son of George Philip Wertman the subject descends from, or if unknown or unconnected, their earliest known Wertman ancestor. The most interesting outcome is that subjects descended from both George of Pickaway Co, OH and Jacob of Tuscarawas Co, OH match the others almost perfectly, indicating that they are closely related to George Philip Wertman. Exactly how is unclear. The above chart implies that the two, WFA06 and WFA11 are direct descendants, but this is due to a limitation in the charting software.

Results from other projects indicate that we are not related to several other well known Wortman or Workman clans.
