He married Alice Maud Victoria HILDERSLEY in St Pancras, Middlesex, September qtr 1907. (Alice Maud Victoria HILDERSLEY is #715.) Alice was born in Soho September quarter 1879. Alice was the daughter of James HILDERSLEY and Mary Ann JAMES. Occupation: Drapers assistant 31 March 1901 in St Pancras. She was listed as Mary Ann JAMES's daughter in the 1901 census in St Pancras, London. The following individuals are also linked to this event: Marian Francis HILDERSLEY (daughter); Lydia Mary HILDERSLEY (daughter); Christopher Herbert HILDERSLEY (son). At 33 years of age Alice became the mother of Doris Ethel COOPER in London, 2 July 1913.

At 33 years of age James became the father of Doris Ethel COOPER in London, 2 July 1913.

James Ashbury COOPER and Alice Maud Victoria HILDERSLEY had the following family:

child 2 i. Doris Ethel2 COOPER (#2747) was born in London 2 July 1913. Doris died 26 October 1982 in Watford, at 69 years of age. She married David William LONG. (David William LONG is #2748.) David was born in London 1 March 1912. David died 30 May 1980 in Watford, at 68 years of age. At 35 years of age David became the father of Ruth Ann LONG in Edgware, 1947 17. (See David William LONG for the continuation of this line.)

At 33 years of age Doris became the mother of Ruth Ann LONG in Edgware, 1947 17.
