At 29 years of age Benjamin became the father of William ASHLEY in London, Middlesex, December 1880. He was listed as head of household in the 1881 census in St Marylebone, London. Occupation: Whitesmith April 1881 in London. He was listed as head of household in the 1901 census in Brighton, Sussex.
