He married Sarah SPOONER in Islington, London, March qtr 1878. (Sarah SPOONER is #1642.) Sarah was born in East Acton, Middlesex 1857. At 23 years of age Sarah became the mother of Henry Charles BARKER in Notting Hill, Middlesex, February 1881.

He was baptized in St Pancras, Middlesex, 12 August 1860. Religion: C of E. He was listed as William Robert BARKER's son in the 1861 census in St Pancras, Middlesex. He was listed as William Robert BARKER's son in the 1871 census in Islington St Mary, London. At 24 years of age William became the father of Henry Charles BARKER in Notting Hill, Middlesex, February 1881. He was listed as head of household in the 1881 census in Hammersmith, London. Occupation: Bricklayer April 1881 in London.
