Walter was born in Strand, London 22 April 1860. registerec as "Walter" and not "Walter Sidney" Walter was the son of
William HILDERSLEY and Rachel Rose HOLLOWAY.
Walter died February 1937 in Hendon, at 76 years of age. He was christened in St Marylebone, London, 23 October 1871. Walter's occupation: Chair Maker in Soho, London, April 1881. At 27 years of age Walter became the father of Arthur William Allen HILDERSLEY in St Pancras, Middlesex, June qtr 1887. He was listed as head of household in the 1891 census in St Pancras, Middlesex.
