22. William⁸ RAINE (William⁷, William⁶, Edward⁵, Edward⁴, Robert³, William², William¹) (#472) was born 1822.

He married Ann. (Ann is #473.) Ann was born 1804. Ann died 3 February 1882 at 77 years of age. At 39 years of age Ann became the mother of Jane RAINE in Mickleton, Yorks, 1843.

At 21 years of age William became the father of Jane RAINE in Mickleton, Yorks, 1843. He was a witness at Edward RAINE and Janet MCKENZIE's wedding in Laithkirk, 25 December 1861. The following individual is also linked to this event: George MCKENZIE (witness).

William RAINE and Ann had the following family:

+ 30 i. William Jackson⁹ RAINE.

31 ii. Jane RAINE (#474) was born in Mickleton, Yorks 1843. Jane died 24 January 1911 in Bowes, at 67 years of age. She was listed as head of household in the 1901 census in Bowes. Occupation: Housekeeper domestic 1901 in Bowes.
