At 37 years of age Margaret became the mother of George BROWN in Darnick, Roxburghshire, 1785. At 40 years of age Margaret became the mother of John BROWN in Darnick, Roxburghshire, 1788. At 43 years of age Margaret became the mother of Jean BROWN in Darnick, Roxburghshire, 1791.

She was listed as a member of William MCKENZIE's household in the 1841 census in Lilliesleaf, Roxburghshire.
