At 32 years of age Margaret became the mother of Anna MCKENZIE in Whickham, Durham, 1889. At 34 years of age Margaret became the mother of Janet MCKENZIE in Swarland, Northumberland, 1891. At 36 years of age Margaret became the mother of Kenneth MCKENZIE in Heddon, Northumberland, 1893. At 39 years of age Margaret became the mother of Norman MCKENZIE in Heddon, Northumberland, 1896.

He was listed as George MCKENZIE's grandson in the 1861 census in Bowbank, Lunedale.
