18. William⁷ RAINE (William⁶, Edward⁵, Edward⁴, Robert³, William², William¹) (#373) was born in Lunedale 2 July 1789. William died 20 February 1869 in Laithkirk, at 79 years of age.

He married Sarah CRUDDAS in Barnard Castle, Co Durham, 28 July 1817. (Sarah CRUDDAS is #374.) Sarah was born in Streatlam 1798. Sarah died 9 August 1863 in Laithkirk, at 65 years of age. At 21 years of age Sarah became the mother of Albert RAINE in Mickleton, Yorks, 1819. At 22 years of age Sarah became the mother of Thomas RAINE in Mickleton, Yorks, 1820. At 24 years of age Sarah became the mother of William RAINE 1822. At 30 years of age Sarah became the mother of Robert RAINE in Mickleton, Yorks, 1828. At 33 years of age Sarah became the mother of Ann RAINE in Mickleton, Yorks, 1831. At 37 years of age Sarah became the mother of John RAINE 1835. At 40 years of age Sarah became the mother of Valentine RAINE 1838. At 41 years of age Sarah became the mother of Edward RAINE in Mickleton, Yorks, 17 April 1840.

At 29 years of age William became the father of Albert RAINE in Mickleton, Yorks, 1819. At 30 years of age William became the father of Thomas RAINE in Mickleton, Yorks, 1820. At 32 years of age William became the father of William RAINE 1822. At 38 years of age William became the father of Robert RAINE in Mickleton, Yorks, 1828. At 41 years of age William became the father of Ann RAINE in Mickleton, Yorks, 1831. At 45 years of age William became the father of John RAINE 1835. At 48 years of age William became the father of Valentine RAINE 1838. At 50 years of age William became the father of Edward RAINE in Mickleton, Yorks, 17 April 1840.

William RAINE and Sarah CRUDDAS had the following family:

+ 20 i. Albert⁸ RAINE was born 1819.

21 ii. Thomas RAINE (#478) was born in Mickleton, Yorks 1820. Thomas died 15 January 1875 at 54 years of age. He married Mary Anne ??. (Mary Anne ?? is #479.) Mary was born 1819. Mary died 19 September 1886 at 67 years of age.

+ 22 iii. William RAINE was born 1822.

23 iv. Robert RAINE (#480) was born in Mickleton, Yorks 1828. Robert died 1 July 1863 at 35 years of age.

24 v. Ann RAINE (#481) was born in Mickleton, Yorks 1831.

+ 25 vi. John RAINE was born 1835.

+ 26 vii. Valentine RAINE was born 1838.

+ 27 viii. Edward RAINE was born 17 April 1840.
