21. Harold George⁵ DICKINSON (Thomas⁴, Samuel³, William², ¹) (#179) was born in St Pancras, London 1888. Harold died 4 September 1950 Barnet, at 62 years of age.

He married twice. He married Alma Florence D JENNER in Willesden, Middlesex, 28 June 1912. (Alma Florence D JENNER is #1664.) Alma was born Kilburn, Middlesex 1887. Alma⁽¹³⁾ was the daughter of George JENNER and Louisa. Alma died before 1922.⁽¹⁴⁾ Harold George Dickinson was a widower when he remarried 22 October 1922. No children were found on the GRO indexes.

She was listed as head of household in the 1901 census in Willesden, Middlesex. At 29 years of age Alma became the mother of Kathleen DICKINSON in Marylebone, Middlesex, England, 9 May 1917. Death found of Alma M Dickinson age 31 Auckland 10a 282 Dec qtr 1919. Possibly same person. Certificate not ordered at 1 Feb 2005.

He married Florence Harriet Mary BUNYAN in Barnet Vale, Hertfordshire, 25 October 1922. The following individuals are also linked to this event: Thomas BUNYAN (witness); W C BUNYAN (witness). (Florence Harriet Mary BUNYAN is #1443.) Flossie was born in East Barnet, Herts Dec qtr 1893. Flossie was the daughter of Thomas BUNYAN. Occupation: Nurse October 1922 Barnet. She resided in Barnet Vale, Hertfordshire October 1922, 2 Chudleigh Villas, Bulwer Road. At 29 years of age Flossie became the mother of Harold Thomas DICKINSON Barnet, 4 Sepember 1923. At 31 years of age Flossie became the mother of Mary L DICKINSON Barnet, Sep qtr 1925.

At 28 years of age Harold became the father of Kathleen DICKINSON in Marylebone, Middlesex, England, 9 May 1917. Occupation: Dairy Manager May 1917 in New Barnet, Hertfordshire. Harold reported for active duty in Home branch, 18 May 1917. He resided in New Barnet, Hertfordshire 28 May 1917, Rosedale. Hexham Road. Harold served in the military in Bedford Barracks, 28 May 1917. Height 5 ft 8.5 inches, Chest 37.5 in. 144 lbs.

He was inducted into the military in Southampton, 18 September 1917. Harold reported for active duty in Somme, France, 1 October 1917. Travelled on Troopship "Derby". Came back to UK, 27 December 1918.

He was released from active duty 12 March 1919. On discharge applied to learn to drive a Stage Carriage.

He was decorated while serving in the military in London, 1919. He was decorated while serving in the military in London, 1919. Harold's occupation: Tram Conductor in London, October 1922. Occupation: Tram Conductor October 1922 in London. He resided Barnet October 1922, Rosedale, Hecham Road. At 35 years of age Harold became the father of Harold Thomas DICKINSON Barnet, 4 Sepember 1923. At 37 years of age Harold became the father of Mary L DICKINSON Barnet, Sep qtr 1925. Interred in Christ Church Burial Ground, Barnet, Herts.

Died aged 62 years.

Harold weighed 144 pounds; was 5-feet 8-inches tall at age 29 years.

27 i. Harold Thomas⁶ DICKINSON (#1555) was born Barnet 4 Sepember 1923. Harold died June 1996 in Huntingdon, at 72 years of age. He married [Mrs] DICKINSON. ([Mrs] DICKINSON is #2778.) [Mrs] died before 1996.

28 ii. Mary L DICKINSON (#1556) was born Barnet Sep qtr 1925.
