Benjamin Morrison WELLS jr.⁽³⁴⁵⁾⁽²⁹⁰⁾⁽²⁸⁷⁾⁽³⁴⁶⁾ was born on 6 Jan 1855 in Elkton Cecil Co., Md..⁽²⁸⁷⁾⁽²⁸⁴⁾⁽²⁸⁶⁾⁽³⁴⁶⁾⁽²⁸⁵⁾ WellsHist gives his birth date as Jan 10 1849 but BioCecil pg 449 and Census 1870 and MethCem records ,and Dar Records of day make date 6 Jan 1855 the more exact date He died on 8 May 1919 in Calvert,Md..⁽²⁸⁴⁾⁽³⁴⁶⁾ He was buried in Lot 461 Elkton Methodist Cemetery.⁽²⁸⁴⁾ Benjamin M.Wells Jr. Benjamin was born January 6,1855, and received a common-school education. when a mere boy he entered the employ of the Pennsylvaia Railroad Company and in 1879 was made agent of the Adams Express Company, which position he has continued to hold until his death. In 1882 he married Miss Mary H.Howard, daughter of the late Col. George R. Howard, of Elkton. Thay are the parents of one child, Helen H.(ref:Portrait and Biographical Record of Harford and Cecil Co.Md. pub 1897 pg 449)
