1.  Abraham "Abrain" Mace was born on July 16, 1804 in Pennsylvania.  He died on May 22, 1861 in Lucas County, Iowa.  Abraham and Jane were in Wapello County, Iowa from 1846 to about 1856, he being the first Mace in Wapello County.

He was married to Jane   She died in 1880.  Abraham  Mace and Jane  had the following children:

      +2             i.  Eliza Jane Mace (born on June 4, 1854).

      +3            ii.  Mary Ellen Mace (born on September 2, 1835).

      +4           iii.  Lydia Margaret Mace (born on November 21, 1837).

        5           iv.  George W. Mace was born on June 4, 1840.  He died in 1870.

      +6            v.  John Cramer Mace (born on September 7, 1842).

      +7          vi.  Josiah Marian Mace (born on February 1, 1848).

        8          vii.  Marinda Katherine Mace was born in 1850.  She died in 1870.

      +9         viii.  Oliver Lincoln Mace  (born on May 27, 1860).

SECOND GENERATION

2.  Eliza Jane Mace (Abraham "Abrain"-1)  was born on June 4, 1854 in Maryville, Iowa.  She died on July 7, 1935 in Scottsville, Mitchell, Kansas.

She was married to Daniel Shamburg II (son of Daniel Shamburg and Regenie Dorothy Byrmann (Biermann)) on October 2, 1873 in Lucas City, Iowa.  Daniel Shamburg II was born on July 10, 1853 in Knoxville, Frederick County, Maryland.  He died on December 28, 1920 in Scottsville, Mitchell, Kansas.  The town of Scottsville was incorporated in 1907 with Ira Keeler as the first Mayor.  Daniel Leroy Shamburg served as the second Mayor of Scottsville, in the early 1900's  Eliza Jane Mace and Daniel Shamburg II had the following children:

    +10             i.  Daniel Leroy Shamburg (born on June 8, 1882).

      11            ii.  Infant Shamburg was born in August 1874 in Lucas City, Iowa.

    +12           iii.  Frank Wesley Shamburg (born on August 9, 1875).

      13          iv.  Guy Everitt Shamburg was born on February 12, 1878 in Sumner County, Kansas.  He died on June 5, 1901 in Sumner County, Kansas.

    +14            v.  Archie Albert Shamburg (born on February 12, 1880).

    +15           vi.  Jesse Ernest Shamburg (born on August 10, 1884).

      16         vii.  Gilbert Chester Shamburg was born on February 13, 1887.  He died on March 17, 1914 in Scottsville, Mitchell, Kansas.

    +17         viii.  Claude Raymond Shamburg (born on November 8, 1888).

    +18           ix.  Elsie May Shamburg (born on December 4, 1893).

    +19            x.  Lester Leonard Shamburg (born on July 2, 1896).

3.  Mary Ellen Mace (Abraham "Abrain"-1)  was born on September 2, 1835.  She died on December 1, 1892.

She was married to Christopher Prather on May 22, 1856.  Christopher Prather was born on January 31, 1836.  He died on May 8, 1909.  Mary Ellen Mace and Christopher Prather had the following children:

    +20             i.  Dora Lois Prather (born in 1868).

4.  Lydia Margaret Mace (Abraham "Abrain"-1) was born on November 21, 1837.  She died on October 26, 1924.

She was married to Peter Lawson in September 1859.  Peter Lawson was born in 1825.  He died in 1902.

6.  John Cramer Mace (Abraham "Abrain"-1) was born on September 7, 1842.  He died on May 2, 1877.

He was married to Mary Holbrook on November 5, 1865.  Mary Holbrook was born on June 11, 1843.  She died on May 25, 1907.

7.  Josiah Marian Mace (Abraham "Abrain"-1)  was born on February 1, 1848.  He died on May 4, 1915.

He was married to Mary Hileman on June 9, 1871.  Mary Hileman was born on June 5, 1851.  She died on June 4, 1898.

He was married to Almeda Tolbert on September 22, 1903.

9.  Oliver Lincoln Mace (Abraham "Abrain"-1)  was born on May 27, 1860.  He died on January 26, 1933.

He was married to Barbara Allison on November 23, 1882.

He was married to Esmerelda Wright on April 14, 1905.
