 State of North Carolina #371 Know that we have Granted unto Anthony Foster apointee of John Gebeen(?) a tract of land containing - - hundred and fourty acers lying and being in our County of Davidson on the East fork of ?Stones River about five miles before the ----- linr. Beginning at on -- about half a mile below a large Spring on the South side of said river, running North three hundred and twenty poles to a hickory?, then East three hundred and twenty poles to a stake, then south three hundred and twenty poles to a stake. West three hundred and twenty poles to the Beginning. to Hold to the said Anthony Foster his heirs and assignee forever, dated the 23rd day of Feb 1793
