Henry William CALLAHAN was born in 1849 in Lawrence County, AL.  He died on February 8, 1933 in Giles County, Tennessee. He was the son of John Callahan and Martha Aikin. He was buried in Evan Angus Cem, Waco, Giles, TN.  After Mattie died, Henry moved with his daughters to Giles County, TN.

Griffin, enumerator lists Henry Callahan (29), Farmer, born in Alabama, father born in Tennessee and mother in Georgia as head of household, Martha (24), wife, Nolie (8) female, Joe (4) and Julie (2), all born in Alabama.

He was married to Mattie OGLES on February 11, 1872 in Lawrence Co , AL.  Mattie's maiden name given on her daughter Julias death record is Vice, On her marriage license issued in Lawrence County, AL her maiden name is given as Ogles.  Mattie OGLES died on April 13, 1887 in Lawrence County, AL.  She was born in Morgan County, AL.  She was buried in Red Hill Cemetery.  Mattie died from Pneumonia with rubela 9 weeks after confinement.  Henry William CALLAHAN and Mattie OGLES had the following children; Julia Velma CALLAHAN (born on April 27, 1878) Nola "Nolie" Lucille CALLAHAN (born in 1872). Luddie CALLAHAN  (born on May 2, 1984). Mattie Catherine CALLAHAN (born on February 4, 1887). Sarah Anna CALLAHAN (born in 1881). Joseph CALLAHAN was born on December 16, 1875 in Lawrence County, AL.  He died on September 5, 1882 in Lawrence County, AL.
