At St. Erth, on Friday last, Mrs. Amy Oliver, at the advanced age
of 85 years.
On
the 29th ult., at Pencarrow
Mill, in the parish of Egloshaye, the wife of Mr.
James Derry, aged 55 years.
On
the 1st instant, at Wadebridge, Mr.
William Annear, aged 70 years.
On the 28th
ult., at Bolingey, Perranzabuloe, after a protracted illness, Mr. William Carter,
late schoolmaster, quietly fell asleep in Jesus, much lamented by his numerous
friends and acquaintances, aged 71 years.

last, after a long and painful illness, which she bore with great patience and
Christian resignation, Miss Harriet Batchelor, daughter of Captain Batchelor,

Thursday the 2nd instant, at Tregenna, a
beloved daughter of Mr. Hearle, after a long and
severe illness, which she bore with a great patience; but in the sure and
certain hope of a blessed immortality. Her amiableness of disposition will be long
and affectionately remembered by all her relations and friends.

St. Austell, on Friday last, aged 83 years, Mrs. Margery Vercoe.
She bore a protracted illness of ten years with Christian patience, and
died in the full triumph of faith. Mrs. Vercoe was a member of the Wesleyan Connexion
45 years.

Hon. Mr. Justice Patteson,) Frances Duke, widow of
James Coleridge, late of Heath’s Court, Ottery St.
Mary, Esq., in the 79th year of her age; deeply regretted by all her
friends, and particularly by the poor in general, to whom she was a constant
and liberal benefactress.

of which she was a member of the Wesleyan Methodist society.

which she bore with patient resignation to the Divine will, Miss Mary Williams,
aged 73 years, one of the Society of Friends, and daughter of the late Joshua
Williams, banker, Exeter.

years, late foreman of Mr. T. Pearce, tanner &c, Newport, Launceston, where
he was highly respected by his master and all who knew him.

Bristol,; and of Mr. Grey, of Castle Cary.

se’nnight, at Raleigh House, Harriet, the beloved
wife of Commander Edward Blanckley, R.N. aged 37[?],
deeply deplored by her family and friends.
She was the fourth daughter of the late George Matcham,
Esq., by Catherine, daughter of the late Rev. Edmund … Rector of Burnham
Thorpe, Norfolk; consequently, was niece to the late Vice-Admiral Lord Viscount
Nelson, and second cousin to the present Earl.
She has left four children to mourn their bereavement.
On
the 17th instant, at Southmolton, aged 98
years and 2 months, Sarah Snow of that place.
On
the 6th instant, suddenly, at Boalogne-sur-Mer,
to the inexpressible grief of his disconsolate widow and family, James C.
[Luce] Esq., surgeon, of Tiverton, in the 25th [?] year of his age.
With talents of a superior order, enhanced and enlarged by laborious
study and extensive …, he was destined, had his life been prolonged, to take a
high position in his profession, which he had planned with equal zeal, credit,
and success.
