William Jimenez - A rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Monday at Franklin & Downs McHenry Chapel for William D'Asedro Jiminez, 68, who died Friday in Modesto. Mass will be recited at 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Church in Modesto. Mr. Jimenez was born in Arizona but had lived in the Modesto and Riverbank areas since he was an infant. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and worked as a mechanic at Contadina Foods. He was a member of St. Joseph's Church and Teamsters Union Local 748. He is survived by his wife, Esperanza Jimenez of Modesto; one daughter Monica Johnson of Oregon; seven brothers, Prospero, Steve and Felix, all of Riverbank, Tilo of Washington, Louis, Efren and Frank of Modesto; two sisters, Victoria Van Buren of Stockton and Margaret Tapia of Tracy; and one grandchild.
