Wes Reed, born in Bellingham, WA, September 30, 1926 passed away in Tacoma, April 4, 2005. After 41 years of service to the Air Force and numerous awards, Wes retired to spend time with his family. Wesley and Roberta were married for 59 years. During his retirement, Wes continued to give back to the community and was an active member of the Tacoma Elks Lodge 174.
Wes is survived by his loving wife, Roberta; children Sharon Reed, Kerry (Susan) Reed, Heather (Redman) Bolek, Lee (Judy) Reed, Sue (Guy) Price; 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Friday, April 8th at 1 pm in the Chambers Creek Chapel, New Tacoma Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Elks Crippled Children's Fund in Wes's name.
