Steven Jimenez December 26, 1920 - July 8, 2003

Steven Jimenez, 82, of Riverbank died Tuesday at his home. Mr. Jimenez was a native of Richmond and lived in Riverbank 48 years. He was a supervisor and had worked at Contadina Foods 35 years. He was a member of Teamsters union Local 748. He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Antonia "Toni" Jimenez of Riverbank; children, Steven Jimenez II of Riverbank and Linda Jimenez of Modesto; sisters, Victoria Van Buren of Stockton and Margaret Tapia of Tracy; brothers, Louis Jimenez, Frank Jimenez and Efren Jimenez, all of Modesto; and four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A service will be at 6:30 p.m. today at Riverbank Memorial Chapel. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the chapel. Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the chapel.
