Shelbyville Democrat - 22 Dec 1887 - Solomon Ponsler, a much respected and aged citizen of Holland township died one day last week, and was buried on Saturday.

Shelbyville Democrat - 22 Dec 1887 - Holland - Died at his residence about 3 miles southeast of Beecher, Solomon Ponsler.  Mr. P. was born in Fairfield county, Ohio.  He has been a resident of this state 22 years.  His death occurred Dec. 16.  He was 65 tears, 10 months and 5 days old.  The interment was at Mt. Zion cemetery.  Rev. Halfacre preached the funeral.
