Miss Prudence Ponsler, 90, of rural Beecher City died 6 p.m. Friday (July 20, 1979) in Lakeland Nursing Home, Effingham.

Funeral services were at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Brummerstedt Funeral Home, Stewardson. Burial was in Mount Zion Cemetery, Shelby County.

Miss Ponsler was born in Shelby County, daughter of Francis and Martha Ann (Clessom) Ponsler. She was a retired school teacher.

Surviving are her brothers, Lawrence of Decatur, Elgin of Beecher City; and two sisters, Verna Ponsler and Mary Ponsler, both of Beecher City.
