MARY PONSLER

Mary M. Ponsler, 82, of rural Beecher City, died at 2:40 p.m. yesterday, May 7, at St. Anthony Memorial Hospital, Effingham.

She was born on June 24, 1897, the daughter of Francis and Martha Ann Klessom Ponsler. She was a retired school teacher.

Surviving are brothers, Lawrence of Decatur and Elgin at home; sister, Verna, also at home; six nephews and one niece.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Brummerstedt Funeral Home, Stewardson. Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Shelby County.
