Mrs. Bernard (Mary Frances White) Davern, 91, of Lincoln Manor died 12:20 p.m. Wednesday (Jan 30, 1980) in St. Mary's Hospital.

 

Mass of the Resurrection will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Thomas Catholic Church. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Friday in J.J. Moran & Sons Funeral Home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

 

Mrs. Davern was born in Decatur, daughter of Humphrey and Elizabeth White. She was a housewife and member of St. Thomas Catholic Church.

 

She married Bernard Davern in 1913. He died in 1947.

 

Surviving are sons, Bernard and John R. both of Decatur; William of Tucson, Ariz.; daughters, Frances Seman of Decatur; Mrs. Boyd (Elizabeth) Johannes of Ann Arbor, Mich.; Mrs. Robert (Alice) Coble of San Bernadino, Calif.; 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

 

Three brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.
